Trust compounds like capital

Lately I've been reflecting on the concept of compounding. We're all familiar with the concept of compounding as it relates to finance and money. But the compounding I'm thinking on is related to relationships.

The edge we've had from the beginning of Peoples Ventures is high-trust relationships across our investors and partners. When you have alignment of trust, values, and goals, it allows the relationships to drive the returns. While returns are important, relationships are more so. And trust is the synapse.

Charlie Munger said trust runs the world, or something like that. I've found it to be true, at least for us at Peoples Ventures.
